Route Description

A half-day excursion to enjoy the most picturesque landscapes of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. We depart from Carboneras, leisurely exploring some of the most beautiful and representative enclaves of this unique coast, always by land, to calmly enjoy every corner.

Along the route, we will traverse the park's diverse ecosystems: from the volcanic formations of the mountains to the coastal steppe and the breathtaking views of the coastline. The path offers stunning natural scenery, steeped in history, mining tradition, and ecological heritage.

We will enjoy unforgettable stops: the viewpoint of the Beach of the Dead, the environment of Roldán Table with its watchtower and inhabited lighthouse, the ruins of the ore loading dock in Bitter Water, the ancient olive tree, and charming neighborhoods where you can cool off or enjoy some tapas.

The route culminates in the spectacular setting of The Escullos, with privileged views of the marine reserve of Bald Hill, where we can learn even more about the Park thanks to an educational exhibition.
